This first semester of the second year of Sociology career have 5 subjects: Economy I, Sociological theory I, Statics II, Quantitatives techniques and Chilean Social History.
In Economy I the contents is not look difficult, but the teacher is old and a little boring and the class is at half past eight of morning so I usually keep sleep. Statics II is a mathematical subject so I am a little worried but the teacher, Paulina is very likeable and very good teacher. In Quantitatives techniques we had a good teacher but he is going to another section and now we have a very disagreeable teacher. I so excited in Chilean Social History because the teacher, Gabriel Salazar is an eminence of the Chilean History but, sincerely, he isn`t a very good teacher. And finally Sociological theory I is a very important subject of my career, I don`t wanna do it wrong, but the class is very difficult and we must read A VERY BIG NUMBER OF TEXT.
Besides of this five subject I decided took the English class, because I think that my career is so difficult in the next years so I don`t wanna risk. Out of academic activities I am participate of a political group called "La Laucha" or in english: The Rats. We work the popular education follow the Paulos Freire`s postulates. Actually we work in a secondary school in San Miguel and in a occupation land called "La Cerro en Toma" placed in Renca. To all this I add my musical project that I mentioned in my past entry. So .. Uf! for a few moment I am under stress. But I am still stoic :)
For this academic period, sincerely I am not so motivate, is so dense an difficult and the subject aren`t of my pleasure and spend a lot of time. But I am inquisitive, I like learn so I expect that this semester will be a good semester.
Good Bye! Until the next entry!
Good luck with the old and boring teacher!!!! ):
